fantastic venue,first class accomodation,sue & bill the hosts are very friendly and approachable,the fishing is brilliant and the fish are in prime condition,all in all the perfect place,even if you dont fish this is a first class base for touring the area

The fishing is excellent, whether you go for the hard fighting carp or the silver fish. All the fish are in excellent condition. During my 2 week stay I made several good friends. Once again I have to say how helpful the owners are, before you get there with bait & during your stay ensuring you have that superb holiday. Accomedation is to a very high standard. The owners are living the dream, farm/fishing/ dream location. For 2 weeks I shared that dream. Roll on next year, as before I left I booked up for next year.

SOUTH REED FARM WHAT A GEM . WITHIN SIX HOURS OF ARRIVAL WE HAD DECIDED TO BOOK FOR NEXT YEAR. FANTASTIC FISHING THE OWNERS BILL AND SUE ARE A DELIGHT NOTHING IS TO MUCH TROUBLE. THE FISH ARE IN PRIME CONDITION AND FIGHT WELL ABOVE THERE SIZE THREE WONDERFUL LAKES FULL OF HARD FIGHTING FISH. ROLL ON NEXT YEAR

Having spent several holidays at this excellent venue and enjoyed excellent fishing, I was somewhat apprehensive when it was taken over by new owners. Having just returned from a fortnight's fishing at South Reed, I am delighted to say that the new owners made me feel that I shared their property and facilities as a guest rather than just renting accommodation. I would take this opportunity to thank Bill and Sue for a delightful holiday and the friendship and warmth they showed both to myself and all the other guests. See you soon.

Now that I have logged on(!), I can now say that South Reed Farm is the place to stay if you want great fishing and a relaxing time together with second to none hospitality from the owners - absolutely brilliant. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Excellent!

My wife suggested a fishing holiday for our honeymoon, how lucky am I. We spent a week at South Reed enjoying a great break and superb fishing. I can't see it being long before we get back to this friendly venue managed by the most helpfull couple we have met.
