Opening times 7.15 am to dusk
Directions A12 Cuton Lakes is approximately 14 miles from junction 28 of the M25. Take exit 28 off M25 znd head east on the A12. After junction 18 you will pass the lake to your right. Exit A12 at junction 19. At large service area roundabout take 2nd exit on to A130 Colchester Road (to the right of the Royal Mail Building). At the next large roundabout take 1st exit on to B1137 Colchester Road. At the next small roundabout take 2nd exit i.e. straight over. At the next large roundabout take 1st exit (B&Q on left) in to Cuton Hall Lane. At the next small roundabout take 1st exit in to Chelmer Village Way. Go straight over the next three small roundabouts and after the third roundabout take the 1st left in to Sandford Mill Road, look for Brown Sign (Sandford Mill), or T.W. Sewage treatment works. Continue along narrow road until you come to two Red signs in front of T. W. Sewage treatment works that say Caution Speed Ramps. Turn right into Brook End Road in the direction of Brown and Yellow Sign (Sandford Mill) - ignore the dead end sign.

Cuton Lakes is firmly established as one of Essex`s finest day ticket coarse fisheries. Whether you`re fishing for carp, a match angler or just an occasional pleasure angler you`ll find a lake to suit you. If you`re looking for carp fishing in Essex, come and try our Specimen Lake. It is home to a huge head of large fish. The Specimen and Pleasure lakes can be night fished. Our Match Lake is the perfect venue for club or group matches or to catch fish for pleasure. All of our lakes have purpose built swims for comfortable fishing and we have a number of swims suitable for disabled anglers. Situated just off the A12 near Chelmsford Essex, the lakes are easily accessible and just 18 minutes from J28 of the M25. The Match Lake has 40 purpose built swims, and stocked with over 3000 carp plus silvers. The Pleasure lake has 27 swims and can be day or night fished.The Specimen lake has 23 swims and can be night or day fished. Both the Specimen and Pleasure lakes have double figure carp, tench and bream.

    I have been fishing at cuton for two seasons. Neil who runs things at cuton is allways very helpfull.I mostly fish the match or pleasure lakes where i have had tench to eight pounds carp to ten perch to two and roach to pound and ahalf. I would reccomend cuton lakes to anybody who wants a good days fishing in plesent seroundings
