Well, i should start by saying i blanked, and that alot of other people were blanking too. There's reportedly big fish in there, so we'll see what happens next time out with a change of swim and strategy! However, the guy contactable on the phone number above is as helpful as you could want, and everyone i spoke to around the lake including the bailiff for the day were super people, so even though i blanked, it scores a 4 for quality of fishing because i had a good time. Surroundings, once past the abandoned busses are lovely, very quiet, lots of foliage but well constructed open swims. Facility wise we were informed there were toilets but they appeared to be locked. Day tickets are 8 for one rod, 10 for two, they do night fishing too. To get in you have to phone the guy and he gives you a combination lock code. I'm going back to try to conquer this VERY deep lake again this weekend so fingers crossed!
