We usually catch small perch but on one occasion lost a rather large perch of 2lb+ from a local quarry. I don't know an awful lot about the fish in the quarry but surely where there's small perch there's big perch. What sort of approach should I take to try and get some of the larger perch, in terms of tackle and bait?
