How do I make cheese paste? I have heard a few ways, but which is best?

The best cheese paste will always be the one that catches the most fish, but if you want an easy one to create that is totally adaptable, try this...

Crumble a chunk of Danish Blue cheese into a bowl, breaking the cheese up into small lumps.

Now sprinkle a couple of tablespoons of flour onto the cheese and mix thoroughly so that all the cheese pieces are coated in the flour.

Now add a tablespoon of water plus a dash of your chosen flavour and a couple of drops of Supercook food colouring if you wish.

Stir the whole lot up using an old wooden spoon until the flavour and colour is completely dispersed.

Knead the whole lot into a ball, working the colouring throughout the paste.

If it's too firm add a touch more water. If it's too sloppy, add a sprinkling of flour.

This paste can be frozen for later use.
