I fish an old mill type dam which has not been stocked for years. It is fished by only 50 anglers and it is a fussy venue to catch. It is very open on one side with a strong cross wind. Levels are up and down (2 to 3 ft) with a strong drift toward the dam head. The deepest area is approximately 10ft with no visible features. There are 2 troughs about a rod-and-a-half out on each side. It has been stocked with carp to 15lb, roach ,perch, crucian carp and tench. I use a waggler with maggot, corn, worm or bread, with 3lb line and 1lb hooklengh and a size 20 hook. Any ideas anyone?
