The carp fishery where I fish has gone a bit slow. What can I do to boost the fishing a bit? Do you have any suggestions for rigs, bait or tactics?

try mussel or prawn on a milder day as these are natural foods. try using a rig at dead depth on the pole as you will see lift bites better due to the weight of mussel being lifted. if you can ask the owner if he knows where any swan mussel beds are and fish near them
