I've got a copy of this book for review and it looks very promising. This could be a revivalist moment for flyfishing - people buy the book and fish these places, others see them flyfishing in major population centres and start asking what it's all about. I hope the book is a huge success.

saw this book, and along with dominic garnett's 'fly fishing for course fish' book, i am now very interested in learning how to fly fish, and have already had 1 short lesson in casting ..... i live in manchester, and am hoping to find lots of new fly fishing opportunities in the near future
