Re: Why so many threads

The problem is with me anyway is that i do not do match fishing so it has no bearing on my fishing and the same goes with many other sections on site so i tend to keep looking in the two/three areas that do interest me more than any and those are off topic, coarse and carp, although i don't target carp that much.

Being a mod means looking at other sections in case of any wrong posts being made so some action can be taken if needed,in doing this i have been able to see/follow some areas of the site that are not used very much if ever over several months, the site needs condensing done with sections being joined together like as been said, more fishing related threads are needed for sure but we had a go not long ago and it was short lived but wile it lasted it was great to see and read but like i thought would happen it fell away,it needs input from what members still use the site that's the only way, i have very limited knowledge compared to many of you guys but i try my best.

The trouble is that since this site changed over from Angling Times to Go Fishing it has lost many members and it has not picked up like many thought it would and with many on site arguments that have gone on that has not helped either,i think we have to live with the fact that the site is not going to be as strong as it once was but we do need to do something to try and make it more useable than it is maybe some good compittions with some nice prizes is a way of getting a few more members on site,i don't know.

I make mistakes i am only human well half the time.

Well we all blank on occasion, although I have to say in fairness the UK sea fishing has been at an all time low, but the summer species are starting to show, so it should make life more interesting.

Cheers

I live on the coast but, the sea fishing has declined so much I only bother in the summer for a few mackerall and the odd bass now.  oarse fishing still offers the excitement of not knowing what you will catch and it does thrwow up a few surprises.

PS are you a real Rabbi, no reason for asking this and nothing meant by it , just curios.

I dont match fish either but, I would read some of the posts if they were just thrown in with everything else and I would find it interesting I am sure and contribute in some way now and then. same for barble and predator fishing, dont do them very much now but, would still like to read them. As long as each post was headed clearly and indicated what it was about.  I am not everyone and everyone is not me ; I know that but, one good coarse fishing thread is all I would like, I would read more, leatrn more I am sure.

Re: Why so many threads

A forum cut down and reshuffle has been on my very long list of things to do for several months now! I'm hoping to get around to it soon
