BEACH ANGLING AND LITTER

On saturday the1st of june I and my two brothers visited Orford island in suffolk we got the national trust ferry at 7 am Orford island is the biggest shingle spit in the uk and is owned by the national trust beach anglers have access to fish but I wonder for how much longer the rubbish and litter they leave behind them is disgusting and deplorable beer cans and bottles plastic and glass carrier bags and rubbish bags full of rubbish old broken chairs mono and even the odd ban line pegged into the beach old bait wrappings I could not believe it if the place gets shut down to angling I would not be at all surprised.

Unfortunately, it happen all around the coast line. I remember when i was on a ferry, to the channel Islands a long time ago, about mid way,  the crew would dump all the litter, from the ferry into the sea. I seen Angler leave litter, but have also seen hoilday, makers, day trippers leave litter. I have been on beach clean-ups, with hundred of other people collecting rubbish, bags and bags full of litter. But the next day after high tide, the beach looked the same.

You should have fished here, last week.

Re: BEACH ANGLING AND LITTER

Not when you see carrier bags full of stones that have been used to hold beach shelters down and two or three days worth of food boxes and the like just left with all the evidence plain to see wh has left it we went to three other beach venues and no sign of the same amount of angling litter this was not floatsom and jetsom or day trippers as only twitchers and anglers visit the site at £9 for the ferry per person.
