 Very true and they say things are better . We got a booklet though the door yesterday about the activities over the beam country park one was den making since when have grown ups had to show kids how to make a camp what next tree climbing , sad. A lot of it is down to the parents it is a case of as long as they are quiet on the computor x box or in front of the tele thats okay.

Surely they would have to have had all the den making sites and materials 'elf an safety tested and cleared and whoa! tree climbing, surely not in this day and age!

 When we were kids we used to build camps over field called the orchard we would dig it out then cover it up with old mats lino and corregated iron . We built one camp next to the doctors garden and ended up tunneling under his garden wall and came up in his flower bed he was not happy we sometimes had a fire inside the camp for cooking spuds as black as coal red eyes from the smoke oh what happy days
