Seagulls an increasing issue
Has anyone else noticed that when you're fishing with anything silvery or shiny seagulls will often nose dive for it when it hits the water? Mostly due to the fact that they use it to identify a fish, but I lost 2 floats in the same day due to a seagull.. I was fishing closed sea water [like a lake thats pumped from the sea], and the seagulls were all over, I ended up landing one [the hook and line looped round it's leg [wasnt actually hooked, just caught like a slipknot] and with all the trouble it gave me my float just shattered.. does anyone else get problems like this or is it just my luck?

"And the raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;
And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming,
And the lamp-light o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor;
And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor
Shall be lifted - nevermore."
