Has Artificial Baits any part in your Carp Fishing? I used to use those little Artificial Corn Boilie Stops alot, I once did a test while Fishing one day, and i found that without them Bites took longer to develop.

Carp Club NZ

 A new fishing club dedicated to carp fishing has just started up in New Zealand. Carp Club NZ. It's the brain child of a few South African lads that got together fishing via a forum in NZ similar to this. I have joined and we have our first "fishin" this Saturday on Lake Whangape. We expect around 10 members to turn up, but hope the numbers will grow once the word spreads. We plan to have a match once a month thro out the year and a 2 day event every 3 months. Kingsley Carp Water - Boggs Lane in Harrogate

Does anyone know who to speak to about fishing the Kingsley Carp water in Starbeck (Harrogate) situated on Boggs lane? I walk past it quite often and have not managed to meet anyone using it. The number on the board has been ripped down. I see from other reviews that this used to be a day ticket venue and would be interested to use it. Any advice?

World record common carp

 Just heard that a new world record common has been caught from rainbow lakes near Bordeaux France at 91 lbs, just up the road from us. When I get the pics I will put a couple on here. The fish is named Eric after it's captor. Sure there will be something on u tube soon. All I need to do now is dig a big ditch from there lake to mine  Thats a bloody big carp !! Cheers, Shane.

Whats your best ever carp session.

Just wondering what has been your best ever Carp session,might not have been the big one but quality maybe. For me it was on a day that was very windy and right in my and my wife's faces,we used simple tactics,wife was using Red Maggots on 6lb main line and the waggler,me i was on the Pole,6lb straight through,18 elastic,sounds a bit strong i know but this venue holds a few big Carp of over 20lb.
