After more than 50 years fishing, my wife and I booked a weeks holiday from one of Improve Your Coarse Fishing's advertisers (Westwood Lakes, in Lincolnshire) and caught my first ever barbel. They have to be one of the hardest fighting coarse fish and I am now addicted.
