Roach,roach and more roach!

Arrived at a foggy lakeside this morning and proceeded to catch 5 roach on the first 5 casts. Things slowed down a little but it was still very much a roach a throw. The sun then came out and I sat basking in sunshine, pulling out roach after roach. I even had a small carp on feeder.  What a cracking day's fishing. My £50 yearly season ticket has to be a great bargain.  As much as I enjoyed catching, what do I do to get past the little devils and into some larger specimens? Any advice gladly accepted.. Mike.

Roach or dace?

Had a lovely morning on the lake and caught three small ones. Not sure if they are roach or dace. Still it broke my duck on my return to fishing and third time lucky. The maggots certainly got them biting.
