Ipswich tackle company Breakaway has been selling its famous grip leads all over the world for the last 35 years.
The latest addition to this sinker range is the Ultra Lead, but the great news for anglers is that now you can make your own.
The die-cast mould makes 150g (yellow) and 170g (red) sinkers, and it comes with 10 nose cone assemblies (five yellow and five red) and a closing clamp. It is hinged for accuracy, and minimal handling means that sinkers are quickly moulded.
There is no need to insert loops or grip wires – just simply mould the sinker, let it cool and then add your desired nose cone assembly.
Further accessories can also be purchased.
Full safety and operating instructions are provided and the finished product is particularly aerodynamic, especially if used with the Breakaway Imp system.
