FISHING IS OVER CLEAN SAND MAINLY BUT A SHORT WALK TO THE NORTH TOWARDS FLIMBY THE GROUND BECOMES MIXED. ABOUT 300 YDS UP THE BEACH IS THE BLACKBANKS, A NOTORIOUS COD MARK IN WINTER BUT BEWARE THE FISHING CAN GET A BIT WILD AND WHEN THE TIDE TURNS ITS TIME TO GET YOUR SKATES ON BECAUSE IT RACES IN ON THIS BEACH. FISHING IS MAINLY FOR FLATTIES WITH THE CHANCE OF A FEW WHITING AND THE ODD CODLING DURING WINTER MONTHS IN DARKNESS. BEST FISHED AS THE TIDE FLOODS BUT FISH CAN BE CAUGHT AS IT EBBS.
