sorry for my last review i'm new to this site. first of all i live close by and fish this venue often the best advice i can give is always bring lugworm if bait fishing as sometimes the fish will only take it. in summer bring a selection of feathers spinners and bass lures. a mackerel strip under a float catches the odd garfish. also if fishing the east arm go to the middle as snags normaly result in terminal loss at the begining but BEWARE of HUGE waves that smash over the wall in rough seas or you will get wet and mabe lose some tackle.

The fishing this year has been patchy for me on the Western arm glut and famine. The far end of the arm has been closed all year denying use of the toilets. I now have heard that the Western arm will be closed until further notice due to redevelopment.

RE: Brighton Marina

Hi there, i'm an absolute beginner very keen to learn about pier and beach venues. Can you give any direction on the type of rig, tackle and bait needed to fish for something off Brighton Marina? thanks

RE: Brighton Marina

There seems to be plenty of fish to be caught but does anyone know what sort of bottom we would be fishing over?
